Besides fulfilling the role of the comptroller general of the Republic of Ecuador, Mr. Carlos Pólit Faggioni has also carried through his roles and responsibilities as the Minister of Social Welfare of the Republic of Ecuador, Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador, Governor of the Province of Guayas, President of the Civil Defense of the Province of Guayas, President of the Dragados Puerto Marítimo-Guayaquil APG Foundation, Customs Administrator, Custom, Deputy Administrator I Guayaquil Customs District, Manager, Director of the National Customs School and President of the Transparency and Social Control Function.

In his capacity of being the comptroller general of the Republic of Ecuador, he has brought in some remarkable progression and growth to the public domain. Talking about his role, he was responsible to audit all of the major expenses and revenues of the Ecuador government, along with its associated firms and entities.
